nude

We had to draw a nude model in free style this week. It was the first time I had to draw somebody who is nude and to be honest I felt quite awkward during the whole lesson. But it helped me that we could choose the style.

studio work (week 10.)

I had a lot of fun in this class! We set up the lights and then all of us had to be a model, one by one. Captured each other from different views, in different moments. We made a lot of really good pictures but here is the best three.

drawing week 9.-10.

In this week(9.) we started to draw a model, we will finish it next week. It's still the most difficult for me to draw a human being... You really have to look carefully all the tiny details, lights, shadows, wrinkles, shapes, lines...etc. And catch him/her personality. It's just a sketch yet.
On the next lesson (10.) we could finish the portrait. Well I must admit it's better than my first portrait, but I still have to learn how to draw a good portrait...

Drawing - week 8.

Today was the most difficult class so far for me. We had to choose a partner and draw each other. I cannot draw human being that's the most difficult for me. The hardest part is always the eyes I could never ever put them on my paper as they look like in reality. I'm not satisfied with my picture today but I really want to learn how to draw a person well. Maybe next week... :)

Drawing - week 7.

Quite difficult this week. At the beginning everybody was sitting in front of the paper and staring it and didn't know where and how to start...then Levente helped us. We had to draw our hands in different shapes/positions. I've never analyzed my fingers, nails, wrinkles, shapes of my hands piece by piece before. I really liked this class.

Drawing - week. 6.

This week we had to try the water-colour painting. Still brick with the material but noe the emphasis was not on them but on the mask and the other objects. How the brick is covering the mask, how the colours are changing,shadows...etc. For me the water-colour painting was quite difficult because it was too runny and went everywhere where I didn't want...so I was working on this picture a lot.

Drawing - week 5.

It gets more and more difficult week by week. :) Now we had to draw a brick covered by a material and some objects on them. The hardest here was the round shape object.

Drawing - week 4.

In this class Levente put a material on the bricks so we had to represent how the material covers the bricks, and how the curves and shadows play with each other.

Drawing-week3.

We had to draw two brick on each other to see how good is our stereoscopic view.

Rainy Autumn in Budapest

In this lesson we went to Budapest in the cold and rain and capture moments, rain drops, leaves in the city. Nowadays since we have this lesson I feel my eyes much more opened than before I can see moments (which should be captured) and so many times I don't have my camera with me but I can see that would be a great picture... I had so much fun even it was freeezing. :)

First Photography class

We had the first class of photography on Monday (14.Sept.2009.).Mr. Godsave told us how will our year look like, what will we do,where and how.Which sounded really exciting! :)He showed us the video that last year's BAAM made. Then we had to go and do some pictures about each other and we had to try to capture the other person's character.I really enjoyed it and I could do a quite beautiful picture about Brigi. But probably I did it by mistake :) so I can't wait to study how actually we have to take pictures.
